It’s an old hotel in Gangnam but VERY convenient to airport bus stop n the Metro. Only complaint was the beds were very hard. A softer mattress or a mattress topper would help. It was the only 3 single bedder we could find in Gangnam but room was very small.

The staff were all friendly and efficient. I checked in with Robert and his wife Hongji-Yoon. Nice couple. She's great and was very helpful both days. The hotel's in a good location too. I'd stay there again. :)

Found bugs in my room. One staff member was quite rude about me asking to move at an annoying time of evening, which I understand his frustration but I think the customer service was lacking a little bit. Bottomline up front: I would stay here again. First off ALL of the staff and manager were AWESOME. They all provided top notch service. We stayed there during Chuseok, so unfortunately we did not try the cafe downstairs. But the ambience was warm and welcoming. I used to live in Seoul and knew what to expect from Korean hotels. Beds are Korean style, which some westerners may find uncomfortable; I did not. The staff called cabs for us and took care of all of our needs. Ice is available at front desk (café). PROS: Cost was great. Staff was exceptional; all spoke good English. Near COEX and Han River exercise path. CONS: No microwave in room, but you do have a hot water kettle for ramen and Maxim (coffee). (There is a fridge in the room.)
