The hotel was built in the late 70s and when you step into the room, you feel it. It's not spacious, but tight bc it's in an urban setting. The floor boards are worn. However, the amenities in room are nice- shampoo/body wash, comforter, pillows, chair. It's great location though- easy access to mass transportation, places to eat, see, etc.
This was my second stay in this hotel. I stayed here for the BTS comeback show. Breakfast was great, but I expected I could eat a more traditional Korean breakfast, like kimchi. The tastes were so amazing! I could talk with staffs in Japanese, so I was so surprised and happy. I hope I stay again! Thank you for a great stay here.
This was a great hotel with spacious rooms. The elevator gets a bit busy at peak times but the stairs are easy to use.
I stayed for 5 nights with my grandchild. I appreciated the location as it was next to the popular picnic area where you can make your own ramen and view the Han River.
When you exit the rear of the hotel theres a cafe called Paris Croissant with the most delicious treats. Theres also a Tim Hortons, Pizza Hut, KFC, Mega Coffee and countless restaurants with various food options.
The hotel offers the use of washer and dryer at no additional charge. You only need to buy soap. I wish my room had a microwave but there was one available to use in the laundry room. Theres also a gym and a massage chair complimentary tea and water in the laundry room.
The hotel itself has a couple restaurants and a buffet. We had the breakfast buffet twice once on a weekday and once on the weekend. Honestly I did not care for the food. There were very few options and none really appealing to my American taste. I was also disappointed that the restaurant staff charged me at the adult rate for my 10 year old grandchild on the weekend. I attempted to let them know but they did not understand me, limited English and it was busy so I just let it go. The food was meh and the espresso maker was malfunctioning so me and two other guests got sprayed with milk. My neighbor at breakfast and I had to use the table between is for our dirty plates since no one care to clear the dishes.
Overall a nice hotel in a good location for access to restaurants. But two rhings..
Buffet breakfast was really good, but pricey compared to breakfasts we had at other hotels in Seoul.
And be careful when walking into the bathroom of your room. There's a big step that you might not notice when going to the bathroom at night with no shoes on. I smashed my toe.
The hotel’s location is excellent and the Airport bus stop is right in front of the hotel which is very convenient for the airport users. The staffs were very kind and helpful. Overall I really enjoyed staying there. I will consider to use it again next time visit to Seoul.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Classy hotel but the condition is rather old and run down. Well located near IFC mall.
It was clean, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was great. The staff there was very friendly too. The one thing I didn't love was that the walls were a bit thin, and we could hear neighbors if they were being loud.
Decent WiFi for video calls. Clean hotel. Great location where the airport bus 6007 stops right in front. Short walk to the Hangang Park river for walks and runs. Gym is poorly equipped - no free weights.
The room carried an elegant, timeless charm that spoke to its rich history. Though some elements reflected the passage of time, everything was well-maintained and tastefully preserved. One of the highlights of my stay was the stunning view of the Han River. I was thoroughly satisfied with my stay — the ambiance was warm and refined, the staff were attentive, and the overall experience was delightful. I would gladly return and recommend this hotel to those who appreciate classic luxury and breathtaking views.
Kim Bohyun at the front desk was so kind and helpful. She gave us a free room upgrade and answered all questions we had. Plus she had to deal with our super heavy luggage twice! She was a star.
Hotel room was nice, if small. It had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the Han river plus the airport limousine bus stop was right outside. Wish we could’ve had more time at this great hotel.

Liked: Cleanliness
It’s old charm from inside. Clean and comfortable. Dint like the AC being centralised, not able to adjust in the room. Room was pretty warm in April. Had to ask for fan and it was given. Hotel being 4/5 star I don’t expect to use fan or ask for iron board.
Buffet brekky was excellent for the price. Friendly staff and service.
Kensington Hotel Yeouido Seoul is very convenient to get to from Incheon Airport as there is a 6007 airport limousine bus stop right in front of the hotel.
It's also a 5-minute walk from National Assembly Station on Line 9, and there are several city bus stops around the hotel, making public transportation very convenient.
There are a variety of cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores around the hotel, and Yeouido Park is nearby, making it great for walks.
IFC Mall and The Hyundai Seoul are also close by, making it convenient for shopping.
In anticipation of the upcoming Christmas season, the lobby is beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations. The staff are friendly, and the room cleaning is done thoroughly every day, which is great.
I stayed in a Deluxe Double Room for 6 days, and the room size was quite spacious.
The view from the window was honestly disappointing.
The most inconvenient thing was the bathroom. There was no shower curtain or shower door in the bathtub, which made showering very inconvenient, and since the bathroom had a wet-room design with tiled floors, it was uncomfortable to stand barefoot because my feet got cold.
Compared to the impressive exterior of the hotel, the room was honestly not very good.
Thank you for upgrading my room to executive king room. The room was clean and quiet. All staff members who I communicated were kind. Also, breakfast was excellent.
Expedia asked me how I liked the breakfast at Kensington Hotel Yoido, but I wasn’t aware I could have breakfast there. The check-in was disappointing, as the receptionist was unable to find my reservation until I could produce an Expedia confirmation number. The room itself was comfortable and clean, though no frills (ie no toothbrush). The location was good, with any number of restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood. But while the hotel advertises soundproofed rooms, I was routinely able to hear my neighbors, including a late-night party the first night.
Really nice hotel. We had a great stay here! They have extra large suites if you staying with a big family or group. A bit far from main attractions, but right next to the Han river
