The hotel is under renovation when I stayed there (part of it) but it was ok and the people are very approachable and helpful.

OK
Hotellet er ikke specielt stor eller kendt, hvorfor det var lidt svært at få en taxi. Ingen internet på værelset, men ellers OK.

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
I booked this hostel to spend one night before taking an early flight at the airport. It is quite close to the airport, but not close enough to go walking, so I had to take a taxi. The staff speak very little English, but they are very helpful and helped me book an early taxi for the airport.
The location is great and the room is clean. There were just a few minor things that happened in our room. The entryway has a thoughtful sensor light, except it turns on every time someone gets out of the bed in the room. This makes midnight bathroom run slightly more difficult. The bottom track of the bathroom door was supposed to be secured with a nail on the floor. Except the door got stuck on the nails sometimes and thus trapping you in the bathroom. The final displeasure came from the staff chatting loudly in the hallway at 7 in the morning, making it very difficult to sleep in.
Hotel Diamant is close to the airport. That is it's main attraction. It is a long walk, doable if you know where you are going. The cab ride is not bad, about $4 as I recall. The hotel is not obvious from the street unless you know Korean. There is no English sign, and it sits back off the road in a cluster of other buildings. I figured it out when I realized that Diamant is actually a misspelling of Diamond, and that a blue and red geometric symbol on a building likely was meant to be a diamond.
On arrival, I managed to check in and get to a dark room down a dark hall. The room was functional, and adequately clean, but not more. I was impressed by the large can of insect spray left with amenities such as shampoo and men's aftershave.
I arrived around 2100 with no need for food, and left around 0600 the next morning, so I have little to report about the the general facilities other than it seemed everything was mostly on par with the room. If one just needs a place to crash that is close, this is okay. There is a coffee shop nearby and with a little wandering one could find meals. I think one night would be plenty though.
After 4 years in Asia I'm pretty familiar with the regions fondness of hard beds. At this property they took that to a whole other level well beyond anything I've experienced. Add paper thin walls to that, and it's pretty difficult to get decent sleep. The room lacked toilet paper. I went down to the front desk and asked for that. The answer I got was that they didn't have any, and suggested we'd use paper tissues. A pretty surprising answer, don't you think?
