The resort grounds are spacious and well maintained. The location is walkable to shops and restaurants. The resort is surrounded by water 270 degrees and has spectacular sunset views. The staff are friendly are always focussed on your enjoyment. The pool villa pool was excellent.

Well maintained property. Our room had everything we needed for our stay. Staff were amazing and went out of their way to help us. Food at the restaurant was wonderful. Snorkelling straight out from the resort was beautiful, lots of fish and impressive coral.

Marmutta perfect stay

Outstanding! Beautiful villa with lovely private jacuzzi and pool shared with just a few villas. 2 restaurants, beach, tennis court. Very safe and the complex was immaculately maintained. 2 minutes walk from the main street with easy access to restaurants, shops, massage etc 20 minutes drive for boats to Gili Islands A lovely place to chill for a few days

Merumatta is a former flagship resort at Senggigi, and the pool villa club was built 2000. It is very well maintained, and the service is superb. Positioned on the Senggigi beach, it is a great place for relaxing and sunbathing. It is also a great start point for tours to the gilis in north or south, as well as to the Rinjani mountain. The villa and its surroundings are clean. The villa is spacious and well maintained. The personell is attentive and ever-present when needed. One day our jacuzzi stopped working. 5 minutes after we told the receiption, a guy was on-site to repair it. At the same time, it must be mentioned that the facilities are a little worn down. A renewal would be appreciated. All in all, we had a great time and would absolutely recommend the Merumatta Pool Villa.

Pros... Staff and service. Views are wonderful. Pools, lounging chairs. Beach access was not busy. Breakfast was included and many options. Nice place to walk around. Loved the pool villa with a private swimming area. Cons... Rooms were very nice but somethings were a bit dated/didnt work well (locks, doors). Sewer smell coming up from the toilet and shower drain. Loved the stay overall! Great staff and location. Would come back again.

Staying at the Merumatta was likened to Indonesian tourism in the 1980/90s. Everything was outdated - the villas were tired, and quite poorly furnished. The aircon in bedroom had to be attended to three times, on the last night it spat ice before then again blowing warm air. We got sick of asking it to be repaired, when what actually was needed was to be replaced. The outdoor spa would only fill to half full due to leaks, so it could not be used. The shower head on en-suite bathroom was faulty, so we largely showed downstairs. The breakfast was perhaps the most disappointing. It was poor quality and chaotic service. The salad bar was dirty, the egg station was slow and disorganized, juice warm and not fresh, coffee tepid - limited fresh fruit, you get my drift. It was perhaps the worst breakfast experience I have had in Indonesia in the many times I have travelled here, and certainly not worthy of the hotel rating. We ate breakfast outside of the hotel a couple of days, because we just could not cope with the poor quality. It would benefit from an experienced and organized service manager - who understands modern hotel breakfast catering/service. To balance my negatives, the cleaning service and linen were good, and the grounds lovely. Sitting at the beach to watch the sunset was a highlight; and the food and beverage prices were reasonable albeit limited to one venue. This isn’t enough for me to consider returning or recommending to others. Overall disappointing.

The villa was amazing and having the pool outside was wonderful. We had so much space and everything was catered for quickly by the staff. We had some issues in our room when we arrived but they were fixed by a team of workers very quickly. Our room was cleaned and refreshed multiple times a day with bottomless bottled water which made everything a lot easier. Breakfast was good and had many choices. The hotel was very private and quiet. While there was a pool bar it was not open for drinks just the complimentary afternoon tea (which was great as a small late lunch) and the restaurant was only open for breakfast which was disappointing although many other choices are a short stroll away. If you like a little bit of a crowd and atmosphere this is not the place for you, there is a lot of space and even though all villas were full it felt 'empty'. I would also be mindful if you are a lighter sleeper as prayers start at 4.30am everyday and were very loud. While during the day they were lovely in the background, we were not able to sleep through them and they continued for around 20 minutes at a time. Overall a wonderful location, a great hotel and we loved our holiday.

Bel hôtel mais un peu vieillissant, la villa est spacieuse cependant ce n’est pas une villa pour 4 à la base puisqu’il n’y a qu’une chambre (en mezzanine) et deux petits lits ont été simplement rajoutés dans le salon...pas terrible pour le confort de tous!

Die Villen war sehr schön und die Anlage mit dem Pool sehr gepflegt. Nur der Strand und die Stadt haben uns nicht so gut gefallen. Das Restaurant Tempaktu direkt gegenüber der Einfahrt zu den Pool Villas ist geschmacklich sehr zu empfehlen.

A lovely hotel, we stayed 7 nights. Friendly and helpful staff. Pool villas are great for a family holiday, lots of room, everything you need, jump in the pool from your lounge terrace - fantastic! Lombok is recovering from the earthquake last year, this hotel is unaffected, beautifully maintained, wonderful lagoon pool + gardens. It was lovely sitting on the terrace looking at the pool, gardens and hills above. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts - our waitress in particular was very helpful and looked after us every morning. A highlight is the beach restaurant with evening BBQ and live music, a lovely way to end the day. Great food, sunset, sun-downers and great music.

Gorgeous hotel with fantastic service

The resort is gorgeous, with a beautiful river pool meandering right outside the door of your spacious villa. Everyone who works there is incredibly kind and responsive. Highly recommend!

The staff were excellent from the moment our transfer arrived at 1am. The room was clean and tidy upon arrival and maintained every day of our stay with daily cleaning and evening turndown service. Breakfast was freshly made each day with service staff and chef accomodating to our gluten free needs. Afternoon snack and tea/coffee in the pool was a welcome break from the stress of lazing around the pool. The staff made the effort to learn our children's names which made a big difference to their experience. Thank you for a wonderful week in your resort.

From the minute we arrive ( very late) we were greeted and treated with 5 star service, our room was more then we expected and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious the pool was right on our door step but private at the same time. All staff were very friendly and nothing was to much to ask. We would definitely recommend Pool Villa Club to our friends and stay here again.

ブラインドがいくつか壊れていた。換気扇の音がうるさかった。シャワーヘッドがすぐに外れる。入浴中に虫除けスプレーをするために勝手に部屋に入られる。お部屋の掃除の際にコーヒー、紅茶の補充がない日があった。 しかし、スタッフのみなさんは感じが良く、ゆったり過ごせました。また利用したいヴィラです。

Had a wonderful Long weekend stay here. Villa was exceptional. Very clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. However, food choice quite limited. Only breakfast at the villa club. No evening meals. Had to go to main resort restaurants. The Italian was ok, the local restaurant hardly seemed to used for evening meals. But we did have late lunch there which was really nice.
