"Place was thilthy not a triple room radiator hanging off the wall its house of multiple occupancy full of loud smack & crack head all shouting in the corrudor day & night cane back to mental health nusre banging like crazy said wanted the girl in our room who id atually seen & she said thats my room your in so then was worried about who had keys this place is nothing like advertised You shoukd not mix long term residents with issues with paying guests it was very frightening going out the room...

"We arrived around 11:00 am, even though it was too early for check in. The owner allowed us to go ahead and park (for free) and he took our luggage up. We made the walk to town in 10 minutes. When we returned that evening, our luggage was in our room and the snacks and wine we brought were in the fridge. The room was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was extremely clean. Plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. Noise from the street was minimal. We will definitely stay again!!"

"Lovely welcome from host Jack, easy parking and access to the property. Room very clean and comfortable, everything needed for our 2 night stay. Great selection for continental breakfast in the morning in a pleasant self service dining area. Enjoyed a meal at The Plough Inn which was a short 5min walk away."

"Close to the city centre but on a quiet side street. Our room was very clean, small, but adequate for our stay. The staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We were very happy with the place"

"We enjoyed an excellent overnight stay at the B+B York. Helpful, cheerful staff and a breakfast to savour. The city centre was a 10 minute stroll away. Parking on the premises was a bonus Absolutely no complaints,"

"The room was meant to be soundproof but could hear next door for starters, then we seen it wasn’t a king size bed but two single beds put together which wasn’t very comfortable to say the least. Also two of the rooms I’d say are used for permanent residence. Then passing pedestrians through the night was noisy was irritating to say the least. We couldn’t work the heating system for the room. "

"The hotel was a fun experience and the rooms were beautifully decorated. Unfortunately I did not sleep as the bed was quite hard. The walls were also very thin and as we were downstairs, I could hear every single movement from upstairs. It felt like they were in our room. "
