"Quick easy check in. Lovely room, but please dust the window areas, had a bit of a collection of dead bugs in the sill. Also the beds are quite uncomfortable. Beautiful view, lovely amenities."

"Very clean, two minute to the beach, and very nice pool! Only downside is no wi-fi and you can't hook up a console or streaming device to watch streaming apps. Also wish there was more parking. Thankfully we were always able to get to a spot before it was full but late night goers may struggle. Definitely a nice spot for those who don't care about that stuff and close to the beach."

Lobby restrooms out of paper towels for days on end and when they finally restocked the paper towels, they were out of toilet paper. There was an issue with them being short-staffed during our stay so we had difficulty securing bedding for the pull out couch as well as enough towels and wash cloths for our large party. "We’ve been coming to OC for 25+ years and have stayed at The Hampton Inn ever since they opened. We always get our preference of a bay room, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We were a little apprehensive with it being a pet friendly hotel but there were no issues. We appreciate the fact that they have already remodeled when the hotel isn’t really that old. Pretty bummed though that the tiki bar has been removed 😔."
