"For my last night on the road on the way to Frankfurt I thought I would stay at a traditional German pub/pensione and so this was it. When I arrived there was a sign on the door saying closed until the 1 March at 5.30pm. The whole place was shut up and chairs were on the tables inside the pub. I managed to find a phone number for the place and rang and a young man attended after a few minutes from down the road. It was closed but there were people staying. "The property is right by the forest and is near Bad Langensalza. The check in was very informal and hotel was very basic. The price is only worth it for the convenience of being by the forest. In walking distance of the treetop canopy which was very nice."
