"This is a B&B in an apartment building, not an actual hotel, so that was a surprise. It's also several blocks walk away from the centro storico of Tropea, so the surrounding area is full of busy apartments and streets that are distinctly uncharming. However, the facility was SO NICE and the air-conditioning was amazing, and the service was very personal and caring. I was happy to be treated so kindly. "Nice room (double room deluxe) and a large terrace/balcony and shared kitchen. The location is great, only 5 minutes walk to the city center and less than 10 minutes walk to a decent grocery store. Breakfast, coffee and croissants at the bar in the building next to the B&B. Michelle the owner of both the B&B and the bar is i fantastic host, so caring and service minded."

Breakfast was also pretty OK; not a big buffet but once again good enough in Italian style. The view from the combined breakfast room/ bar is stunning.
