Good location, friendly staff

Older hotel. No air conditioning. The room was way too hot at summer time and should not be rented for full price. Nice location with a view to the castle and very friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent too.

A unique hotel close to the heart of Savonlinna. Easy stay and had a good breakfast with plenty of options. Rooms can get hot in the summer as there was no ac, just a fan. Luckly visited at the end of summer with lower temperatues

No aircon, if you opened the windows there was wasps trying to come in. The windows could really use mosquito covers. Breakfast was minimal, selection poor. The beds were good and everything was very clean. Furniture on the hallway was old and broken...

Great location by the lake, with beautiful views. This is an older property which has been repurposed. It would be great if they redid the interiors to make it more comfortable, although it is an interesting view of an older hotel. It faces the sun in the morning, so the rooms get quite hot and opening the windows can only cool it so much, so it was quite warm in the evening. This was mid-summer, so perhaps in the winter this works well. The breakfast option was good. Young staff, helpful and courteous.
