I would definitely recommend getting a car, taxis are not easy to get and it’s a bit pricey especially if you want to explore. It approximately 25-30$ to go to town by cab. "I just simply cannot believe how wonderful this hotel was! Everything was meticulously clean and the landscaping was beautiful! The casitas were well stocked. They provided water bottles and even a pitcher of iced tea upon our arrival. The service here is top notch. The check in process was easy and they explained everything about the property and escorted us to our casita and explained even more. "The staff was generally very friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. We felt safe on the property. Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful time. However, considering the Hilton’s resort fee, one should not have to pay an extra fee to get a palapa closer to the water. Also, most of the palapas did not have hooks on them, so our beach bag was out of view if we left it by our palapa. Lastly, beware of cab drivers overcharging from and back to the airport.
