Sarganserland District Packages (Flight + Hotel)

Unclear from the website that there was no A/C or private bathroom. Property not the cleanest.

Very good location.

I booked this hotel expecting basic amenities, especially a hot shower and a comfortable night’s sleep. Unfortunately, there was no hot water during my stay, making it impossible to shower. This completely defeated one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. I informed the front desk, but the issue was not resolved in a timely manner, and there was no compensation offered. A functioning hot water system is a basic expectation for any hotel, and not having it significantly impacted my stay.

This place has a very convenient location just a few minutes walk from the main train station and near several tram stops. It's on a quiet street, and though the single room is quite small, it fit my needs. The entry system is easy once you get the hang of it (you have to wait a bit for the doors to unlock), but there was someone available to help me open the outer door when I arrived. The guest house is also right around the corner from the hotel, where the breakfast is, but there is free coffee and tea on the ground floor. I will be staying here again when I return to Zurich.
