Déçu ...

Je n’ai pas apprécié mon séjour au Tau Casa Reyes, hôtel non entretenu, problème avec l’eau chaude le 3/4 du temps... les commodités sont rudimentaires, Très petit réfrigérateur, ne vous fiez pas au Photos... C’était quand c’était neuf...

Al llegar al hotel me dieron una habitación mucho más pequeña y que no corresponde con las imágenes de la web. Al comentarlo en recepción me dijeron que tengo razón pero que la habitación que yo había reservado tiene una gotera y no me la podían dar. Los apartamentos no corresponden con las imágenes de la web. A parte de eso había humedades con moho en las paredes y caía agua de la maquina de aire acondicionado. La habitación tenía una ventana con una lámina negra completamente opaca por la que no entraba ninguna na luz natural ya que estaba en un sótano y daba a un patio de luces interior. El baño estaba muy viejo y oxidado.

The property has laundry services for about the same price as dry cleaning. There is street parking, the staff is friendly and considerate and most of the are very kind and helpful. There’s not always hot or even running water. It’s in a good area for walking the entire Colonial District, as we did. It’s very pretty and clean inside. The WiFi is spotty and doesn’t always give good connection but works for the most part. The breakfast is very American and basic, I wish there would have been local choices on the menu. I would recommend staying here.

lo que se ve en las fotos no es las habitaciones tienen mucho ruido con las habitaciones vecinas , el sitio es muy encerrado , la zona un poco retirada del casco central algo insegura, de resto el personal muy atentos y coordiales

Hotel Conditions Ruined My Vacations

The conditions and comfort of the room were terrible. In many occasions there was no water and the reason given by the hotel staff was that the water pump was off. The shower drainage was clogged during my whole stay. I complained few times to get this problem corrected and no action was taken. The fixture that holds the shower hose was broken. The conditions of the towels were awful. Those towels were in conditions to be discard. I selected to stay in this hotel in this visit to Santo Domingo based on couple factors first the price and second in the pictures posted in the Hotels.com website. But the the reality was another. There were another hotels to choose from the same price. But I selected this one based on the description and pictures posted. I thought that was the best choice. But I was wrong.
