Location is excellent; 5 min walk to the subway and dozens of bus stops at your doorstep. The area around the hotel is quite rundown; business closed. The closest restaurant area is 15 min away. The property is in the middle of restoration; will belong to Marriott as of December. The rooms are certainly not in best shape. Dirty carpet and dated furniture.

Unsafe neighborhood.

I really want to give this hotel a better rating because the staff was great. That said, I can't possibly recommend this hotel. The neighborhood isn't safe after dark. Several locals that I talked to told me that this is a crime infested area, and an American tourist was actually stabbed to death last year in this neighborhood (I looked it up. It's true). They have giant metal gates that lock down the hotel after dark. The hotel itself is in desperate need of a facelift. The carpets are stained everywhere. The phone in my room didn't work. The TV was incredibly outdated. The food in the restaurant and bar was outdated and extremely overpriced compared to restaurants in town. I can look past a lot of the cosmectic things, but the fact that this neighborhood is extremely unsafe by itself compels me ot urge people not to book here.

Um grande hotel, precisando de uma renovação

O hotel é grande e bem antigo. O Hall de entrada engana um pouco, porque é bem moderno. O quarto no qual fiquei era bem confortável, mas muito desgastado, com carpete em mau estado, paredes que precisam trocar os revestimentos, banheiro com banheira antiga. O quarto estava limpo e o café da manhã era razoável, com pães e doces "de padaria", mas bons. O atendimento foi muito bom, com funcionários prestativos e atenciosos.

Boa experiência, próximo a duas estações de metrô. Serviço de qualidade, boa comida. O quarto precisaria uma reforma, carpetes já mais velhos, mas não atrapalhou muito a experiência geral.

Desafortunadamente el día que llegamos al hotel no funcionaba la calefacción, y continuó el problema el siguiente día. El personal del Hotel fue muy amable y ellos se encargaron de cambiarnos de Hotel, incluso a uno de mejor nivel. Las habitaciones son limpias y el servicio excelente, pero los pasillos del hotel estaban muy sucios y fríos. En los alrededores del Hotel no hay buenas opciones para comer, y nos comentaron que por la noche no debíamos salir por que la zona no es segura.

Just as almost everybody else has said, the neighborhood isn’t nice. There is a bohemian neighborhood a short seven minute walk. A certain name change to Le Meridien, they still have a lot to do to bring this hotel up to Marriott standards.

Muito boas instalacoes, aparentemente estao renovando ainda mais o hotel (as banheiras e marmores dos banheiros eram novos) e o quarto é enorme! Bem localizado, staff bastante atencioso, apesar de termos tido um pouco de dificuldade em contatar o concierge. Tivemos muita dificuldade com as chaves do quarto, que todos os dias desmagnetizavam, nos obrigando a acionar a recepcao (que prontamente nos atendia). O cafe da manha nao estava bom. Apesar de grande variedade de alimentos, muitos nao estavam frescos (p.ex.: endurecidos, ressecados, etc). No geral, otimo hotel e recomendo com certeza.

Wonderful hotel and staff.

We really like this hotel. One of the best so far. It is very close to the main tourist attractions, which allowed us to walk to. However; what we enjoyed the most was the hotel staff. They were so polite and ready to help us with our needs and answering our questions. The two concierge/ bell men were especially helpful in telling is what to visit and how to get there. They also continuously reminded us to be careful for pick pockets and they were right as we met people that were robbed during their stay. Highly recommend to all travelling to Santiago to stay at this hotel.

Muy buen hotel

Muy buen hotel, con buenos servicios y excelente personal, siempre amable y listo para ayudar. El gymnasio merece algo mas, faltan maquinas y faltan pesas (algunas mancuernas no tienen la pareja) y no son completas; ademas el rack donde se ponen las mancueran esta en mal estado y puede romperse causando lesiones graves a quien esta cerca o agarrando las mancuernas. spa y alberca estan en remoldelacion, y creo que seria bueno que se pusiera claramente cuando una persona quiere reservar.

Conforto, localização e prazer

Hotel excelente. O único porém, que pode ser algo que incomode algumas pessoas, é que as janelas do quarto são completamente fixas (não abrem) e o ar condicionado é central. Banheiro enorme e muito confortável. A água do chuveiro é forte e a temperatura pode ser regulada ate ficar super quente. Próximo ao metrô e de um supermercado. Café da manhã maravilhoso, completíssimo. Há 2 pianos, um no térreo e outro no primeiro andar. Experiência inesquecível.
