""First and foremost, I want to extend a huge thank you to Mark and Kay for making our week so incredibly memorable. What started as a professional stay quickly felt like visiting friends. Mark and Kay are the most hospitable and gracious hosts I’ve ever met; they truly made our comfort their top priority. From providing transportation and excellent local dining tips to their 'make yourself at home' attitude, we felt completely at ease. The property itself is a beautiful modern concept with a relaxing resort feel—spotlessly clean, comfortable, and featuring a fabulous pool with a stunning view. If we are ever in the area again, this will definitely be our first choice!""

"The room was spacious. Grounds of the resort were very clean and well maintained, and the staff were super friendly. The inside of the room could use more attention when cleaning (ie. up in the high cupboards, filter for air conditioner)."

"This is pretty basic accommodation. We had a small room without windows. The aircon was good and most things worked. The breakfast was served by a cheerful guy, but there was no milk, cereals or fruit. Noise travels very easily. It is about 300m from the main waterfront road."

"I had a great stay at Hotel Dumaguete and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location is absolutely perfect—conveniently situated near key attractions, restaurants, and the waterfront, making it easy to explore and enjoy the city. An for the staff members I encountered was warm, accommodating, and genuinely helpful. An also added security, with army guards present on the premises. It provided an extra layer of safety and peace of mind."

"The restaurant staff was great — friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The rest of the service felt pretty laid‑back, and getting assistance outside the restaurant wasn’t easy. The place itself is quiet and feels private, which is nice, but the food overall is just average with nothing particularly special. We visited the herb garden and the staff there were friendly and knowledgeable, which was a good experience. The biggest inconvenience is the layout. The check‑in counter is extremely far from the rooms. It’s manageable on arrival, but checking out is a hassle because you have to walk a long distance with your bags. They have a golf cart that could easily help guests get to the port, but it just sits in the garage instead of being used. Other than the few standout staff, the overall experience is just okay."

"I cannot say enough good words about this place. First, it's not too far from the port. The resort itself is small enough to be cozy and peaceful but big enough to have everything you need. The beach is gorgeous, swimmable and has a good snorkeling area. The rooms are clean, comfy and the toiletries smells so good. If I'm nitpicking I wish they had more pillows but you can always ask for more if you want more than 2 pillows. Food is yummy and our rooms come with free breakfast, so convenient. Overall, I absolutely love this place. When I go back to Siquijor I would definitely stay here again and just here. Also, staff is absolutely amazing. Always ready to help, knows what they're doing, well-trained and always smiling. Owners are welcoming as well and very accommodating. I can't recommend this place enough. Absolutely love this place!!!"
