Very friendly and comfortable hotel. This hotel has an old world feel to it and is very elegant. It is within walking distance to town and shops. The hotel has a first class bar and restaurant.

Old time Hotel right by the quaint Santa Paula downtown. So walkable to stores, restaurants, museums, and more. It's old but they obviously work to maintain the charm.

Love the nostalgic atmosphere of a victorian style hotel. Please remember that this is a hisyoric hotel that has been around since 1911 and know that there is some differences than modern hotels. However, the unique fewling of the beautiful lobby alng with the decor and the wonderful staff makes this a hidden gem to experience. Enjoy and keep an open mind as this is highly recommended and also the dining at Enzos there on the premises is some of the best italian food around. I will be back for sure.

The staff was absolutely wonderful, kind and friendly! The rooms are small, but comfortable. They offered complimentary coffee in the room and down in the lobby... but NOTHING for tea drinkers, my #1 complaint at any hotel. The bar offers complementary nuts (which were very good), I would suggest pretzels too, as many people are allergic to nuts. The bar tender was terrific, the blood orange martini was excellent.

This hotel felt instantly familiar. Staff was kind and helpful, the common areas were safe and well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable. Several amazing restaurants within walking distance in a safe, well maintained city.

This is a unique historical hotel, it is over 100 years old so the conditions were better than expected but there is still room for some improvements specifically to the room I stayed. I enjoyed the ambiance and the overall look, I think all it’s missing are subtle details but again that’s just me.
