Great access point for Portofino.

Basic hotel but good price for the area. Wonderful breakfast which was served to you. Great location. Bit noisy as on main road. Hotel can reserve spaces in the main car park but is quite costly.

The property and the staff were amazing, the rooms were clean and comfortable, we would stay here again and again, the breakfast was great and to our surprise it was included. The location was perfect, we even invited the host to come and stay with us in Miami if they came to visit. Loved it

I was surprised that as a hotel guest I had to pay 30 euros to park my car for the night. If you go here, take the walking path to Portafino, it’s beautiful!

Located between Portofino and Santa Margarita and on the hiking paths to reach both places without walking with the traffic on the road. Bus goes in either direction every 15 minutes if you don’t want to walk. Gem of a hotel. Small, clean, functional. Great breakfast. Accommodating friendly staff. Owner gave us a small bottle of limoncina when we checked out.

We enjoyed the hotel...it was much cheaper than other options ... we did have to pay 30 Euros a day for parking but even with that...it was the best price. Our favorite thing was the sweet staff and the amazing delicious breakfast !!

The hotel was very nice and clean... Beautiful quaint room. It is located in Paraggi, which is a very good alternative to Portofino... And there's a beautiful path that takes one ~20 mins to Portofino

This hotel was one of the best places we have stayed on out trip. The Paradise room at the top of the hotel, was just that, paradise. Incredible view of the inlet. The staff was very happy and friendly. We left feeling like we wanted to come back immediately.

Couples 1 night stay

Wonderful 1 night stay in Paraggi. Perfect location right across the street from the beach. Could see the water from our room. Room everything that we needed. Breakfast was very nice. Great service. Parking lot next door with parking for ~20-30 dollar nightly. Short and beautiful 30 min walk to Portofino via the "Walk of Kisses." The water at Paraggi is very clear and many fish to see.

Exceeded Expectations

This hotel had a fantastic location on Paraggi beach and just a quick walk to Portofino. The hotel is steps from the beach so you can go swimming in less than a minute. The included breakfast was by far the best we have had during our 7 week trip to Europe and the customer service in the restaurant and at front desk were absolutely fantastic. We had a late check in and they communicated everything we needed to know to check in on our own. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. We highly recommend this hotel!

We could not have been happier with the Hotel Argentina. We had room #10 that was spacious and had its own bathroom. It is a European hotel where there is no lift, so be prepared. The staff is amazing, friendly and we took advantage of their boat tour which I would highly recommend! The location of the property is perfect nestled between Portofino and Santa Margherita Liguria. And you can’t miss some time on the beach of Paraggi bay. We will be coming back!

An affordable way to visit Portofino

At 20-30mins walking distance to Portofino (on a nice footpath set into the hills and overlooking the sea), this hotel is well located for visiting the village whilst escaping the incredible hotel costs of Portofino itself. It's also an easy 30min walk to Santa Margherita Ligure along the coastal footpath from the hotel. The included breakfast was very good, and the staff were very kind and attentive. I overlooked the detail that the room I booked was not ensuite, but had a dedicated bathroom nearby, which I regretted as this was inconvenient. Other rooms did have ensuite. This is a budget hotel in a very expensive location so close to Portofino. Paraggi only has three restaurants, which are even more expensive that eating in Portofino itself. If returning, I would probably stay in Santa Margherita Ligure, for the plentiful restaurants, shopping, beach, and lovely port/harbour, and then use the frequent bus to visit Portofino. I would recommend visiting Protofino early in the morning, before the cruise ship visitors arrive, then you can enjoy the beauty and peace of the place.
