"We found this to be a comfortable clean hotel with a good restaurant. It’s across the street from the historic center, and is actually very well located although it might not seem so on first impression. The decor feels a lot like an American motel - not much charm. Housekeeping left something to be desired- our first room had no toilet paper and a non working toilet. They couldn’t fix it and didn’t follow up until we asked again. The hotel has a beaitiful view of Mt Etna. Whilst we were there it was erupting and we could see the ash clods in the day and the lava flows at night, The parking is off road oposite the entrance. Breakfast was lovely. Staff are all super helpful. The air condition in the room sounded like an aircaft taking off so we didn't get much sleep. The room was billed as a suite but it wasn't what we woul dcall a suite in the UK. It was a large hotel room with a double bed and a sofa bed

I didn’t want to leave! This is a beautiful hotel with what feels like botanical gardens, an amazing pool and right on the beach with Etna always visible. The staff are all super friendly from reception, to the pool bar to the wine bar, and can help to book taxis.
