"Last year the reception staff were friendly and obliging, but this year they looked bored and uninterested. It’s disappointing because I know how good this hotel can be, and I hope this was just an off week rather than a sign that standards have slipped."

"All around wonderful experience. Perfect location as it’s outside the city center, less crowded and quieter. Minutes to the beach, mall and local markets. Metro is one block away and taxis frequently stop right at the hotel entrance. 15 minutes by taxi to anywhere in the city. Staff was great. 5 stars."

"My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. We stayed in a room with an ocean view and it was just wonderful. We used our balcony in the morning, late afternoon and every evening. It was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful, however the lines were usually long to talk to someone at the front desk. The location was perfect. Very close to the train station and so many shops, restaurants and pubs. We would definitely come back to Santa Susanna and stay here again!"
