Except that, traditional Japanese gaisheki dinner and breakfast were excellent. "The property is very nice, clean and modern. The living room is a comfortable place to relax. Please be aware that this is a 3 bedroom property and the other rooms will be occupied by other guests. The kitchen, living room, toilets, and bathroom are all shared with the other guests. The house is lovely but has very thin walls and doors and you can hear all the other guests, even when they are trying to be very quiet. If the other guests leave early in the morning you will very likely be woken up. It is a nice place to stay but please consider this when booking. "

"The staff was terrific; very kind and attentive. The view of the Tori gate was incredible from our room. Food was wonderful and there was a lot of it! More that anything, Miyajima is just a wonderful place! If we can manage it we will go back! Also, they have no issue with tattoos in the onset, which is a plus for me!"
