"Lovely old resort in an ideal location for our visit. Dining room experience was lovely. The motel unit was clean and tidy - had everything we needed. One suggestion would be to have the exterior of the units pressured washed - so many bugs and cob webs - doesn’t give a good first impression. The screened in porch was also great for morning coffee as well as the picnic table if you prefer being outside. The inside of the porch could also use a good cleaning but was definitely adequate. Overall we had a very nice stay and would stay there again in future."
"My stay at the Super 8 was excellent. The room was clean and spacious. The hot breakfast was great. Also, it was nice to have access to a pool. Overall the staff was very courteous and helpful."
"Love the location. Great access to the park and walk around the town. Hotel is outdated but cleanliness. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Mattresses are comfortable. Good air conditioning and water supply for shower. Utensils are not enough but you can request if needed. Had a great night stay."
"This hotel is very well maintained and conveniently located. We really enjoyed the patio of the on-site restaurant with entertainment the evening we were there. We enjoyed our water view patio, and the walkway along the water. The dock for the Lift Lock Cruise is right beside the parking lot, which was very handy. There's a grocery store a couple blocks away, other shopping in walkable distance, and a Tim Hortons and Smittys right across the street. The staff were all very friendly and seemed truly interested in making sure we enjoyed our stay. Great spot!"
"The suite is old, and so may not appeal to everyone. It doesn't have AC so could be a hot box in summer, but there are plenty of fans and lots of open windows. There is lovely, tiny balcony off the kitchen, facing the back garden. I stayed for just one evening and was quite comfortable. The place suited me perfectly. A must is to walk around the acre or so garden. Margaret is a lovely, friendly host. She recommended a decent restaurant just a couple of hundred metres away. I sampled the Indian cuizine and found it delicious."
"We had so much fun at this resort. The cabin was perfect and everything was clean and exactly what we expected. The outdoor table and set up was so nice to be able to watch kids play either at the park or the beach, and also just enjoy a morning coffee. We used the boats and kayaks and games room too. Only thing was you have to park at the main area and carry items to your cabin but it’s not far. Would definitely recommend to other families. We will be back!"
