There is a pillow menu available and my feather pillow was delivered within minutes of asking for it. "Wonderful location. Near everything. Walls are very very thin. You can hear the local jazz bar 4 shops down till 2 am. Incredibly hard to get a restful nights sleep. However rooms are clean and the staff and amenities are above par. The free espresso machine is a nice touch. AC helped survive a hot period."

Concierge, while a lovely person, gave a few recommendations that were "duds." The rooms are missing standard items like hair conditioner, shower caps, Q-tips, etc. Furthermore, soap and shampoo are locked like in a cheap motel. It was very hard to get anything out of the bottle. The hotel does not have parking or any valet/bellhops services. In-room coffee service does not offer even a cheap creamer. "I'll start with the good. Pension Iturrizza is in a superb location in San Sebastian's Old Town. It's on a quiet side street near a church, very close to excellent dining (which is everywhere) and steps from the dock, beach and aquarium. It's hard to imagine finding something so convenient for what is a very good price. If all you want is a place to drop your bags and have a place to sleep, go for it.
