Steve and I were there for 2 weeks. The staff could not do enough to make our stay more comfortable. You will enjoy their menu, the food is delicious. I highly recommend this hotel, and we will be back there soon.

I like the location especially regarding the local food spots. I did not like if the AC wasn't at least on 16 degrees C the floor will stay moist and not dry up. So I am glad the floor was tiles and not carpet because of that. The front desk and bar people were awesome and accommodating and even helped get us to the water taxi and local airport. There is no actual spa you have connections to get someone to come to your room if need be. Great people just a few kinks that need to be worked out.

We were staying in the "penthouse" due to the fact that we needed more than one bedroom and wanted to do some of our own cooking. There were several things that were odd and caused inconveniences: 1) lack of hooks or shelves in the bathroom 2) oven wasn't plugged in so didn't work 3) lack of utensils for cooking 4) no coffee maker (!!!) 5) the bedding didn't quite fit the bed and there were very few pillows. 6) there is no elevator and the stairs are really steep and are outside 7) no chairs/furniture on the balcony My main problems with the resort were that everything seemed just cheap, broken, or not quite right. Examples: *electrical tape holding the tap on the shower; *the pool upstairs that wasn't cleaned the whole week we were there (full of bugs, leaves and debris); *the smell of sewage around the grounds, especially over by the pool and bar area. Service: The people working there were polite and friendly. They were helpful about carrying our bags up the stairs and offering us rides to the taxi. Restaurant: We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food the one time we ate there. The hours/ days of operation for the restaurant are a mystery and there isn't information posted or online.
