Sandcastle Hotel on the Beach
Room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. However, be prepared to pay $30 a night for hotel parking. Parking on the public street is free depending on where you park. Although, the nightly parking is cheaper here, that is extra expense one should be aware of.

Pismo Beachwalker Inn & Suites
didn't use the pool, the heater ac was confusing how to operate so was cold sometimes. Kitchen had nothing but a clogged sink and 2 person table with no utentials or pans. No coffee in the room was a bummer.
