We really enjoyed our stay, and the staff were excellent. The room was a little basic, but I got the impression that the place was constantly improving at the time we were there. I would recommend to anyone wanting a chilled experience with a pool and bar.

What’s good - staff is friendly. Pool and bar onsite. Relatively cheap What’s bad - rundown condition, not near other gay spots, the electricity went out one time, the food is limited, my fan was broke and no AC, the sheets felt dirty the first night, there was leaking from rain outside

The staff at Colours Oasis are really nice and helpful. highly recommend the classic Costa Rican breakfast and lunches. Plenty of maps and tour options are available for booking at the front desk. Pharmacy and convenience stores are close by for anything you might need.

The owners and most staff are friendly and helpful. Liz even arranged a private tour for me, since almost all tours require 2 tickets minimum to join, I don't know why?. I'm traveling solo... The private tour cost about the same as 1 ticket. When I wanted to move to a hotel downtown, Liz helped me get one in Central downtown, clean and affordable. If you are gay or just like quietness, this hotel is great for you and partner : Adults Only!!!

The staff are incredibly friendly, and we met some nice folks staying there. The pool area and bar are lovely. Our room smelled moldy and was very outdated. We stood in 3” of water every time we showered, since it didn’t drain properly. The owner was not very nice and the place needs a severe upgrading. We would not stay there again.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming from the minute i arrived (early check-in, as i was travelling from the South)The bartender/mixologist,Riccardo, was fab at his job,the chef,Carlos cooked the best food I've tasted in a long time(would put some of the chefs I've worked with in London to shame,and the gorgeous Christian made my stay very special. Dont waste your money. Location- very deserted area, at night time felt unsafe to walk alone. Property- Pool area was very pretty. Bar area was clean. Room -Outdated rooms, terrible bathroom, rusted shower heads, lack of basic toiletries. Lighting in the room felt like we are in office. Restaurants- Nearby we found nice Italian restaurant , where food was delicious and owner was adorable. Staff- Staff was very helpful and sweet to attend needs.

The hotel is marketed at clothing optional but everyone wears clothes. The hotel is quiet and it doesn't appear to have much patronage. The communal area is small and tight...perhaps too small to be comfortable. They have a lot of dining areas throughout the hotel to sit at a table but little room around the pool area.
