"The firefly restaurant is worth the visit. The Dana was located in the heart of where we wanted to be.
One surprise was the room, not what we had envisioned as a 4 star hotel. There wasn't a door from the main room to the sink.
The toilet shower area was quite small as well.
It did have ready hot water at all times which were greatly appreciated.
Lacking in appeal it was still a good place to stay."
"Old property needs new furniture,my room had a really old dresser. A/ C did not work, to carpet was old. Elevator was broken.Too many out of date amenities."
"Great view of the marina. Parking was an issue as I have a large truck and the underground parking was tough to fit into, but we made do. Staff was great. Across the street is a small boat launch and it was fun to go over at night and see the large birds and the seals try to convince fisherman to offer up some bait. Pillows were small and way too giving. Shower had fantastic water pressure. Will stay here again."
"Like getting into a retro time capsule! Super clean, well-maintained trip down memory lane. Cool little diner and a Mexican restaurant on site. All for a fraction of what you’d pay elsewhere in San Diego. I’d stay there again, no problem."
