It was my anniversary and my stay was very pleasant. Room was small but it was very clean and got a great view. Pool was a bit small too but we were able to enjoy happy hour. Overall I will stay again in the future. Also, expect to pay extra $72 for valet parking per night.

If you are looking for a hotel in a great location this is the one. The hotel was clean and hotel/valet staff were great! Our room was not facing the street so we heard no street noise but our window view was a wall lol, but we didn't mind that since we got the room for the location not the view. We didn't use the rooftop bar but we took a peek at it and it was very nice, great area for some cute insta pics. The other hotel guests all seemed to be older couples or business related guests so we had no noise issues during the night in the halls or around the hotel. All in all I would def stay again!

The property was centrally located in the heart of the Gas Lamp District. Walking distance from various restaurants, bars, and local attractions. The downside is that it is very noisy in the evening until 3 in the morning. The other disappointing experience is that the Hotel does not have self parking. They only have Valet parking and it is $72 per day. I asked about self parking and I was told that I can walk 2 blocks from the hotel and hopefully the parking lot may have spaces available.

Great place to stay, right on 5th Ave…heart of Gaslamp District. Rooms are very nice, comfortable and well appointed. Have stayed here numerous times! Definitely recommend this place when visiting the area!

I didn’t realize how loud this part of town is, but we were pleasantly surprised that our room was relatively quiet even on a Saturday night. The staff were extremely nice and very helpful with recommendations for food. The rooftop pool was also great, but not really our vibe. I would think this hotel would be excellent for those who want to be in the middle of the San Diego night life, but it’s also okay for those going to concerts at Petco Park or seeing the sights.

Very nice hotel, but loud since it's on the main street at the Gaslamp district. Also something we missed is they charge you $72 for parking so just factor that into your hotel rate. We stayed Sunday into to Monday thinking it was a week day and shouldn't be too loud, the music from the next door restaurants went on until 3:00 am in the morning. Thank goodness they give you some earplugs but it still kept us up. Overall a very nice clean hotel just didn't like the area it was in, a little dirty and alot of stuff going on in the streets.

This is our favorite hotel to stay at. It is a fun location with lots to do in walking distance. The hotel is extremely clean and staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is the room was very small, but it’s not too bad.

The AC Hotel in San Diego has a perfect location if you’re in town to party, enjoy nightlife, and be close to the action. However, it is not a good choice if you’re looking for a quiet, restful stay. The noise outside did not stop until around 4:00 a.m., making it very difficult to sleep. Unfortunately, our room was also located next to the ice machine, which was extremely loud throughout the night. Between the street noise and the constant sound of the machine, we barely got any rest. Great location for nightlife, but I would recommend requesting a room away from the ice machine and higher floors if you are sensitive to noise.

In the heart of the night life. Great place to stay if you want to experience the bars and downtown vibe. Once in my room I could not hear any of the night life noise or hustle and bustle. Very close to Petco Park (ballpark) - walkable. Very close to the convention center - walkable. I would stay there again.
