"The staff was SO NICE. R"

"Check in was terrible, hotel held our luggage after arriving by cruise ship in the morning until check in at 4pm. We arrived back at hotel around 2:45pm and I stood in line at front desk for 1/2 hour clerk stated at 3:15 check in not till 4pm room not released yet. Sat down for a bit now line is getting longer at front desk this was at 3:45 was in line again. Stood in line for a little over an hour before seeing front desk clerk & even then took 10 minutes before gettin the room. The line behind me was now was going to the front door. Originally there was 2 people there & one left, why hotel was not prepared for this when a cruise ship comes in is beyond me."

"the shower still had hair from the person prior, one of the staff members was really rude to us, complaining about how she just came from her previous job working 12 hours so she couldn’t help us, the TV in the room did not work and the front desk said she couldn’t do anything about it. the hotel did not live up to what I expected "

"The staff were very polite. Rooms were ok. Seemed as if maybe people might be temporarily living there. Positives are: close walk to Gaslamp District. However, have to walk though kinda sketchy area at night especially later at night.."
