"Samara Pacific Lodge is a hidden gem for our Samara adventure! The location was perfect. We could walk to the beach for some surfing in the mornings, then head into town for delicious local eats in the afternoons. In the evenings, the pool area was a lifesaver! Nice and refreshing, with plenty of comfy loungers to catch some rays and unwind. The staff here were incredible. "The hotel doesn't take credit cards so remember to bring enough cash. If you forget there is a bank of Costa Rica a short walk away but it only lets you withdraw 200 american dollars per day. The room could have used AC but the fan worked just fine. The nights were rather loud because of winds and trees dropping things onto the roof.
