The property is absolutely gorgeous! The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed, with stunning interiors throughout. The views of the lake are breathtaking, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent as well. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and can’t wait to return!

Fabulous belle époque hotel with perfect service that isn’t overbearing. Absolutely stunning grounds and art nouveau interior. The pool was refreshing and relaxing, the views were gorgeous. Great breakfast with a lake view. This really feels like traditional high end lake living. The history is fascinating too—check out the Salo museum for an hour while you are here. Only complaint was the air conditioning couldn’t quite keep up with the extreme heat wave.

The property is absolutely stunning. It is a gorgeously romantic setting but the architecture & interior of the hotel is what really made it a special & beautiful experience. The staff were exceedingly helpful & kind in every interaction and truly endeavour to make sure every guest has a great holiday - we particularly got on well with the two porters who were so friendly, kind & courteous. Also, the concierge desk helped us a few times working out things to do/transport to take and they were great at following up to ensure we’d got everything we needed. And, of course, our room was kept incredibly clean & tidy, with water provided daily and a lovely good night message provided each evening with tips on what to do. Breakfast was lovely every morning & served in the stunning restaurant - a really great way to start your day. We didn’t get around to having dinner at the hotel as there were so many places we wanted to try, but the food we did have was delicious & the drinks were all great. We’d come back here in a heartbeat. Thank you to all the staff at Hotel Laurin for a wonderful & memorable holiday,

This was a grand Villa, whch turned into a hotel in 1960. Everything is updated and beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous. Staff is wonderful. We loved our room. All was wonderful and I highly recommend. Just know that there is a 7 minute walk to the beginning of Salo's passeggiata.

We loved our stay at Hotel Laurin. The property is far more impressive than the pictures let on. It’s a stunning building with beautiful and historic common areas. We really loved having breakfast on the patio overlooking the lake in the morning. The staff were very hospitable and helped us book a great boat rental. We were also treated to a free upgrade and loved our renovated room with the lake view.

I love the old school vibe this hotel gives. It has a lot of character. Also the woman at the reception desk (i think her name was Greta) was SO helpful and gave so many good recommendations for food and activities. One thing i didnt like was there were no irons in the room. I had to either send my clothes for ironing service which i had to pay for or go downstairs and use the iron which wasnt practical for me. Otherwise, this was a beautiful hotel.

We had a suite overlooking the lake (property is NOT on the lake, but high enough to have great views). Our room was fully updated with clean, large bathroom with tub and shower and two sink vanity. Nice pool and outdoor seating. Terrace dining with great views for both breakfast and dinner. Front desk helped us arrange an amazing wine tasting. Wonderful stay!

A special hotel on all levels.

This is a very special hotel, full of style, history and charm. With a flair for excellent service, every member of the team went out of their way to help make our stay comfortable and memorable. Superb evening meal and wine recommendation.

What a stunning property. It was so charming and the breakfast was wonderful! The town of Salo was also beautiful. Lots to see and eat. All of the staff were king and helpful.
