"My husband and I spent the weekend at this hotel. It was a wonderful weekend! The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. Everything was nice and comfortable. The pool, soak tub and hot tubs were amazing. We were able to walk to any thing we could have desired and as usual Salida was beautiful! We cannot wait to stay at the Loyal Duke again and next time bring the whole family."

"absolutely fantastic, great conversation with one of the guest there at a shared breakfast space. the owners make you breakfast and chat with you while you have home made Greek yogurt from goats milk made right there on the farm. It's a woman and her husband who both also make lattes or any kind of coffee you'd like frothing some goats milk churning put interesting conversation and whipping some eggs tortillas and amd pesto with a couple slices of avocado that will knock your socks off. the rooms are done with detail and passion pride and care. You feel the love the owner has for the place and passion for making it a great place to visit. 10 out of 10 recommend."
