Unfortunately we were allocated a room with an underperforming air conditioning system and unable to open windows due to road noise. Allocated a replacement room very quickly an£ without any fuss or delay

Wow probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in. So helpful and even made sure to charge our electric car overnight so we had plenty of charge for the onward journey. Super comfortable beds, lovely rooms. And the whole place smelt amazing! Wish we had booked more nights here, and will definitely come back to Salamanca

This hotel is really unique: it’s in an old, old monastery. The location is perfect for walks to the sights and to the plaza mayor. We opted for the buffet breakfast, which is a great value. The restaurant is in the basement, but has a gorgeous patio. The service and food were very high quality. Look no further - great property.

Great hotel well situated for exploring Salamanca. The staff were excellent and attentative. Rooms very comfortable although marred by ineffectual air-conditioning which made it difficult to sleep during the hot August nights.

Definitely not a 5-star hotel

The exterior and the entrance are spectacular. The gentlemen at the reception were also nice and friendly. Unfortunately, the room itself was a disappointment, especially the beds: both very squeaky, the mattresses old and laid through. You literally cannot turn to not wake up the other person, and you are most likely guaranteed to have a back pain in the morning. The bathroom is also outdated, with water damage everywhere, and completely rusted heater… Something I would never expect from a 5-star hotel.

A beautiful building in a great spot in the old town where we had a lovely room overlooking the cathedral. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful friendly and professional. We had a wonderful experience all round thoroughly enjoying the tasting menu for dinner which we felt was good value and of excellent quality. Room spacious and comfortable breakfast excellent tasty choices. Catered for gluten free. Would highly recommend this hotel

Nice hotel and very conveniently located

Stayed at the hotel for two nights on the way to the UK from southern Spain. Lovely old building and very well maintained. The reception staff were very nice and helpful and gave us a map on arrival pointing out all the attractions. The hotel is very central and 7 minutes walk to Plaza Mayor. The hotel does have outside (no cover) car parking. Spaces are limited but this is managed well by the hotel staff to ensure space is maximised. The only negative is the pool area. There was a serious lack of sun loungers and a lot of them were damaged and in need of replacing. For a five star hotel this was very disappointing. The pool also needed some maintenance work.
