The staff was helpful from start to finish. The only complaint was that the mood light knob in the room was broken and have to take a day to repair. But it wasn't the only light available so just deducting one star.
Got a 6000 yen credit for the restaurant from Expedia. Was a pleasant aurprise.

We had a wonderful stay, the location is excellent—very convenient and within walking distance of Ueno Station, making it easy to explore Tokyo and access the airport. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and professional. They always greeted us warmly and were happy to assist us. Overall, NOHGA Hotel Ueno exceeded our expectations.
