"On a business trip to Saintes with the family, the Red Door Inn is located right in the heart of town, with beautiful old building and quaint streets. We used the secured underground parking just a 5 minutes’ walk away and left the car there for a few days. The house is very traditional and full of character, the room was a good size, very comfortable, warm and homely. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We will stay there again if we return to Saintes."

"A run down hotel with a lot needed to bring ip its standard. My tour across Spain and France has seen many fantastic laces to stay for less money. Even the free internet was broken in a town where O2 coverage was poor. Sadly i couldnt wait to leave. The photos give the wrong impression"

"a very pleasant one night stop over ideally situated for us. Pleasant and friendly staff. Enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast the following morning. Both of us had a good nights sleep and found the bed very comfortable. Easy free on site parking. Would stay again."

"What a find.
This hotel is perfect.. such great value for money.
The parking is very safe with a lockable gate.
The room we had was lovely and large and very comfortable
There was even a kettle for hot drinks and complimentary bottled water.
The hosts are lovely people and speak good English. We would stay again if in this area. I would imagine it would be beautiful to be there in summer.
There is a great diner in the next village only a few minutes away by car"
