Not too many foreigners get this west in Japan and so everything was set up for Japanese tourists and locals, which was refreshing. The staff, especially dining at the hotel itself, were so accommodating that the chef prepared desserts for us, even though there wasn’t any dessert on the menu. It was delicious and well worthwhile.

The only issue was immediately following the booking of our reservation, we received an email from the hotel stating that renovation was going on and the view from our room would be blocked due to the scaffolding. This was the case, but it was not a big deal. ...
