Nestled in the San Luis Valley, this historic town offers a glimpse into Colorado's past through its well-preserved 19th-century buildings. Visitors can explore the nearby Great Sand Dunes National Park or hike mountain trails in the surrounding Sangre de Cristo range.
Quite possibly one of the best stays we've had whilst road-tripping in the US so far! The concept of this place is so simple yet offers an incredibly unique experience. The Yurts were spacious, squeaky clean and well maintained, as were the shared facilities. Great to have access to the snack-bar on site which offers enough variety for during your stay including complimentary coffee and water. The outdoor Drive-Inn where you can watch a movie is a brilliant touch with free popcorn for guests!...

We actually extended our stay here because the staff were so friendly. The hot tub is a nice bonus. The only downside was that our room was right in front of the breakfast room so it was a bit noisy. The upside was that we were close to fresh coffee! Would stay here again. 😁

We loved our stay in peewee! Our very own airstream.
The location was great, the facilities were clean and tidy, especially the bathroom and toilet.
The lady on reception was very helpful.
We would definitely stay again!

Lovely wooden cabin only a few meters from the river in a rural setting. Saw lots of deer in the evening in the surrounding area.
The owners were very helpful & friendly

Friendly staff, nice room and Quincys down the road selling filet mignon 15oz for $10.99. Couldnt have asked for a better end after a long days driving.

Stayed on way from Denver to Durango. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Lodge was quirky with Christmas theme. Bed comfortable and good eating places within a few yards walk.
