The front desk staff was rarely available when needed at various times throughout the day. The front door is LOCKED at a certain time of night. We had a 4:30am departure and needed to get out. Our car was parked 2 spaces from the front door and we were expected to leave by a back or side door and drag our luggage around the building at that hour! Finally, the front desk attendant came to our rescue and unlocked the front door for us - thankfully! It might be good to warn patrons, in advance, that this is your policy!

The elevator was not working when we checked in. That was bad enough, but nobody said anything about that to us. My wife noted hairs from some earlier guest in the shower. That’s just gross. Also, we were promised that a billing receipt would be emailed to us, but nearly a week later, we still haven’t got anything. Overall, I’d say the place was a bit of a disappointment.

The room was clean and comfortable. When breakfast was available, the warm cinnamon rolls were amazing; unfortunately, they did not offer hot breakfast every day. There were not a lot of parking spots, and the construction crew there took up most of them with big trucks and vans, making the small parking lot even harder to maneuver.

We've stayed at this hotel many times over the years but this time our experience was very poor. Booked through Expedia and was required to pay a deposit with the balance owing at check-in. However, was told at check-in that they charged for the total amount and they didn't work with Expedia, that I would need to contact Expedia for refund. Room and carpet needed to be deep cleaned or upgraded. Bathroom needed deep cleaning. Big stain in tub. I had just stayed in May and by July, all the coffee/keurig/tea/cups and amenities had been removed from rooms with sign "coffee in lobby". My sister had adjoining room and we both had an ant problem the entire stay. Was told that since ownership changed, they hadn't contracted a pest control yet for spraying. We were on 3rd floor with no screens on windows. Was very hot during day but didn't want to run AC at night. Needed fresh air but couldn't keep windows open since no screens. Breakfast was good but was supposed to go till 930am (10am weekends) but when we arrived at 9am, few items were already gone and told they weren't refilling. (Oatmeal, potatoes, sausage) I stayed 5 nights and 3 of the nights when returning from outings, I had to go back to front desk to have key updated since it wouldn't work to open room door. 2 of the 5 nights there was loud party happening after 1am, spilling out into hallways. Overall, very disappointed and won't stay there again. Will pay extra to stay somewhere else.

The check-in staff took a long time and they wouldn’t let me check in because my maiden name on was the reservation and was different from my ID, so that took awhile. There were ants in the room and the bathroom. The breakfast was not great.
