"Good core comforts, but some annoying inconveniences
Just wrapped up a stay at the Hyatt Place Sacramento International Airport and wanted to share a realistic look at how it went.
First, the good stuff: the location is super safe and quiet, which was great. The parking lot is huge and really well-lit, so I never worried about my car. The complimentary breakfast was actually really good, the rooms were spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.
That said, there were a couple of things that were pretty annoying. Even though they claim to have daily housekeeping, they don't actually clean your room automatically. You have to call down to the front desk and be super specific about what you want—even down to asking for fresh towels—otherwise it doesn't get done.
The other big bummer is that there are no microwaves in the rooms. There’s only one for the whole hotel down on the first floor. It’s a total pain to have to take the elevator all the way down just to heat up food, and during my stay, I even had to stand in line waiting for other guests to finish using it.
Overall, it’s a clean and safe place to crash, but the housekeeping policy and the microwave setup definitely hurt the experience."
