"It was very hot and they forgot to put a fan in my room but when ask one was supplied, the doors on the outside keep banging when other guests coming or going and the noise from some bikes rasing on the street below my window kept me up a long time during the night but the staff in the restaurant and hotel are great."

"A relaxing feel runs through the hotel and out into the gardens. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Herons love it too! The staff were smiley and attentive, Our room was clean and the towels soft and fluffy. We made use of the spa facilities every day. The pool temperature was great for us."

"Good location but avoid rooms facing Union Street or close to the pub next door if you are a light sleeper or want to rest. Nice size room WiFi poor. No out of hours reception. Staff arrived at 08:00 am. Although the hotel boasts car parking it’s by no means easy to park, first come first served ain’t stress free. Once you left the ‘car park that’s not even in the same street as the hotel, you were thinking all day will I manage to get a space when I get back and if not as a stranger to Ryde...
