"The rooms are on the small size typical of many European cities. Just enough room to open two suitcases. Room and bathroom were very clean, the bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast included for us and was very good, but not what Americans might expect. Location was great and central which was good for us as we walked everywhere and needed to be close to the Central Train Station. Restaurants, shopping, sightseeing all at your fingertips."

"Excellent location. Breakfast buffet in sister hotel very good with wide choice. Bedroom rather quirky with no wardrobe or drawers, but there were hangers on a rail. Bed comfy. Staff unfailingly helpful and friendly. Cozy hour from 5 to 6pm with a free drink in the reception area was a bonus after a day sightseeing."

"Air conditioning excellent. Standard room was small, with no cupboard but hangers. Ideal for a few days but difficult I imagine if you had a suitcase. Good breakfast worth trying for a few days."

"Coffee from an instant machine cost an extra 45 kr! At least provide free coffee, hot water and some coffee cups. Room was adequate, if small and shower was hot, finally found a hot shower!"

"The location is excellent. We enjoyed our stay at the Ascot Hotel very much but were surprised that there wasn’t a bellman to assist with luggage when we arrived and we had a lot due to a long trip. We had to get a signature suite so that we had enough space to put our two large and two small pieces of luggage as there was not any drawers to put anything in. The closet didn’t have much room in it. The breakfast was generally good but the oatmeal was runny. Maintenance-wise, the carpet up to breakfast is very dirty and the left chair by the elevator is also very dirty. The front desk staff were wonderful and very accommodating. There are many dining places close by."
