"We had a beautiful, large room with a canopy bed. All the furniture was elegant and antique in style. We had a huge bathroom with double sinks. The room came with robe and slippers. Our room was on the second floor reached by a spiral stone staircase. They brought our luggage to the room. Dinner is available and we enjoyed our meal in a stone walled room. Breakfast was served there too. It has a lovely courtyard where they served drinks. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend...

"Very close to the fortified city"

"Carcasonne is a beautiful and memorable city unlike any other. Hotel du Chateau is an equally beautiful and memorable hotel. This hotel has it all: excellent staff and great service, a brilliant location just steps from the city, a secure and private car park, a pool and other amenities, and to top it all off, the breakfast was superb. Our stay at the Hotel du Chateau made our visit to Carcassone a pure pleasure. "

"We were very happy with our stay. Great location from which to visit the old and new city. Super friendly staff!! The room was large with a wonderful balcony overlooking the old city. Nice garden with areas to sit and sip wine. We would stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel. "

"Great location next to the fortress, excellent friendly staff, nice sized comfortable room and bed. Only complaint is there was not even a drawer to unpack any of your luggage. We are literally living out of our suitcases as there was nowhere to put stuff. Other than that we still highly recommend. "

"We stayed Saturday to Tuesday. The restaurant and bar were closed on Mondays and Tuesdays which was disappointing - The roof top bar area had an incredible view of the castle but we didn’t get chance to sit there - otherwise I would have given a higher score"

"Je recommande cette résidence pour les raisons principales suivantes : personnel accueillant, emplacement au pied de la cité, parking fermé sous l'accueil (en option) donc sécurisé et à l'ombre, espace commun entre les bâtiments très agréables avec de la verdure et des tables, une double porte dans la chambre qui permet de s'isoler du bruit éventuel dans le couloir, le fait que la chambre soit spacieuse (avec kitchenette et table)."
