The location is quiet, safe and within walking distance of the sites. The place is charming. Federico and Elisa were responsive, friendly and excellent.
This property was absolutely amazing.... outside it is in what appears to be an older style of building with a typical Italian Roman essence, but on the inside, it is modern, chic, and absolutely beautiful. The decor was great giving it a very stylish and modern and homely feel, the Rome was exceptionally large, especially for hotel rooms in Rome, and the bathroom was very large and spacious and even featured a rain shower along with a separate jet shower, with tons of water pressure and infinite hot water, and of course a bidet. The owner was always on hand to assist you with everything you needed and directions to everywhere you need it to go including the nearby laundromat and supermarket, sights, and anything else you needed.... all via WhatsApp messaging. Check in was also very easy and I love how the property is only metres away from the Fumicino Sit Bus Service that goes from FCO international airport to Termini, via the Vatican on via Crescenzo, meters from the door..... there is also a Rome famous "fontanella" free water fountain a couple of streets away so that you can fill up your bottles and bring back fresh, clean mountain water that is no different to Evian, coming from a very similar source on the Italian side of the Mountains. I have stayed here before and stayed here again because it is such an amazing place and I was very happy safe and secure there and was able to have wondrous sleep in the big comfortable bed. Great job to the owners and I highly recommend.
This place was great for what I needed it for - a space to sleep and shower while I explored the city. It was close enough to everything, and the neighborhood is quiet, so the location was great! The two big downsides to this property: 1. Checking in and finding the property were way more difficult than it should have been. When you enter the building, take the first stairs to your right, and it’s on the second floor (3rd floor for Americans). 2. Don’t look too close at the cleanliness! It’s decently clean, equal to what you’d expect for an inexpensive hotel room, but there’s grime in the bottom of the cup to hold your toothbrush, dust on ledges that’s I’m sure been there for months, and don’t look at the bottom half of the shower. That being said, it was overall a good place to stay. I can’t say it would be my first choice if I went back to Rome, but I also wouldn’t say no to staying here again.
