The neighborhood seemed unsafe and the room smelt bad. The owner was difficult to communicate with and was hostile. It was so unpleasant to stay there so I had to book another hotel.

The room was clean and bright. the location was very convenient. close to many bus routes and close enough to walk to the Vatican and metro stations. found good food nearby for a late night meal. Also many coffee and gelato shops.

Tolles kleines Hotel in der Nähe zum Vatikan

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer entsprach zu 100% den Bildern und war super sauber und gemütlich. Das Hotel liegt ca. 1,5 km vom Vatikan entfernt, so kann man sich nach dem Abendessen den Petersdom mit seiner Beleuchtung anschauen. Auf dem Weg zum Vatikan liegen viele kleine Restaurants die sowohl zum Cappuccino als auch zum Dinner einladen. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das BACCANALE al 59 auf der Via Della Giuliana ca. 400m vom Hotel. Wir haben den Taxiservice in Anspruch genommen der mit 50€ je Strecke vollkommen ok ist. Alles in allem ein super Aufenthalt 👍

Very clean and convenient place

What a great place! Quiet, very clean and conveniently located not far from the Vatican. We never heard anybody else around. The rooms are really clean and comfortable. Massimo (the manager/owner) is great as well. There are plenty of buses at the doorstep to take you to the touristic attractions in Rome and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Vatican Museums. The area is very quiet in the evening and there are lots of shops around open until late. I would definitely stay there again.

Consider somewhere else

This place really let me down. I want to give them a good review but in hindsight I cannot. First off it says they offer shuttle service to the airport. It's a driver they call and you pay them cash, no big deal, but our flight arrived at 1:30 from the USA. The driver was told to be there at 1:30 even though we had to go through customs and all the other stuff. When we finally made it the driver was angry at us because he had to wait 2 hours. We over compensated even though this should not have fallen on us. If that was all I would've still given this place a great review, despite the very mediocre breakfast that was provided. The man who runs the place was very kind and accommodating, but when we checked out I received and email the next day saying he would have to charge us 100 euros for damages to the room, without a specific explanation. I called him on this and said there was damage to the wall next to the bathroom previous to our stay, and if he could clarify what he was accusing us of. Not to mention, we always exchanged emails in English, but this time he sent it in Italian. I felt this was very shady. I emailed him again, trying to give him the benefit that he made a simple mistake, but again zero response, despite his previous prompt responses. This left a sour taste in my mouth. Besides being a nice neighborhood with a nice cafe and walking distance of the Vatican, it's better to find something closer to central Rome, ubers got expensive.

Good location about a mile near Vatican City

Overall a good stay. Breakfast is just a piece a bread and toast with jelly, plus coffee or juice. Old fashioned key entry system, had to carry 4 BIG keys around.Very small area for the rooms, can hear other rooms and they can hear you as well. Stayed for 3 nights, and was out of shampoo and soap on the 2nd day, no refills. But location is very good.

Der Vermieter (Massimo) ist sehr freundlich und gilfsvereit. Das Zimmer ist schlicht aber geschmacksvoll eingerichtet. Es was stets sauber... die Putzfrau ist auch eine äusserst angenehme Person. Eine kleine Kritik gibts jedoch: Unser Zimmer war ziemlich lärmempfindlich! Man bekam jedes Geräusch und Gespräch aus dem Korridor mit! Uns hat es trotzdem gut gefallen...

Nette Unterkunft in Stadt Nähe

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, es gibt einen Kühlschrank, das Bett ist bequem. Bis zum Vatikan sind es 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Der Chef ist sehr freundlich. Nachteil: Es gibt kein deutsches TV. Das Frühstück könnte etwas besser sein. Satt wird man davon nicht.

Hübsches B&B in der Nähe des Vatikans

Herr Morani war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Alles wirkte sehr neu und modern, das Bad war ebenfalls top. Von außen wirkt das Gebäude eher unscheinbar und wir waren zunächst etwas verwundert. Aber wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und innen war auch alles sehr schön.

Top Adresse in Rom!

Sehr schönes B&B in Vatikannähe. Die Anlage befindet sich im Romer Stadtteil Clodio Saubere und sehr gepflegte kleine Unterkunft mit 4 Zimmern. Alle Zimmer haben ein eigenes Farbthema, unseres war in einem pastelligem grün gehalten. Der Besitzer des B&Bs Massimo ist ein überaus netter, kompetenter und sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Die Zimmer selbst, sind ausreichend möbliert, es gibt ein Bett mit Nachtkästchen, einen Schrank, einen kleinen TV an der Wand und eine Sitzecke mit 2 Stühlen und einem Rundtisch, sowie ein kleiner Schreibtisch mit Spiegel. Das Bad besteht aus Toilette, Dusche, Waschbecken mit Hängespiegelschrank und Bidet. Ein Fön ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Eine Bushaltestelle ist beinah direkt vor der Haustür, nach ca. 100 m über der Straße. Die U-Bahn Haltestelle Ottaviano ist ca. 10 min zu Fuß erreichbar. vom Flughafen Ciampino ist es etwa eine halbe Stunde mit dem Auto. Wir würden sehr gerne wieder kommen, uns hat es sehr sehr gut gefallen. eine klare Weiterempfehlung!

Rom Kurzaufenthalt, dafür alles in allem OK

Sehr versteckt. Das Gebäude ist sehr schwer zu finden und nicht ausgeschildert. Selbst wenn man direkt davor steht, findet sich nur ein kleines Klingelschildchen. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem größeren Wohnhaus neben einem Sicherheitsgelände (Gericht oder Kaserne). Es handelt sich nicht um ein Hotel sondern um ein B&B, daher gibt es nur eingeschränkte Zeiten für check-in und check-out, was etwas stressig ist. Der Betreiber möchte die genaue Ankunftszeit und wartet dann extra. Das Verlassen des Gebäudes ist recht umständlich, man bekommt zahlreiche Schlüssel, die man auch benötigt... Unser Zimmer wurde nach dem Auschecken zu einem Aufenthaltsraum umgebaut. Kann Zufall gewesen sein...Alles in allem - wenn man es einmal gefunden hat - eine recht gute Unterkunft. Sehr sauber und modern, WLAN gratis, zum Vatikan/Petersdom läuft man ca. 15 Minuten durch eine schöne typische Straße. Auch die U-Bahn erreicht man in der selben Zeit ganz gut. Shopping in der Ottaviano Straße ist eine schöne Option. Frühstück ist nicht zu empfehlen (Croissants, abgepackter Aufstrich und extrem süßer Nektar). Wer also auch wegen des Frühstücks bucht: Das sollte Eure Entscheidung bitte nicht beeinflussen! Wer den Schwerpunkt nicht in der Gegend Vatikan/Petersdom setzt, sollte ggfs. ein anderes Viertel bevorzugen.

Sehr angenehmes Zimmer in ruhiger und zentraler Lage. Frühstück typisch italienisch, sehr netter Gastgeber, sauberes Zimmer, es wurde der Shuttle Service organisiert direkt vom Flughafen, alles in allem ein sehr gutes B&B und nur zu empfehlen.
