We were DELIGHTED with our stay and wish that we had booked more nights. The proprietor could not have been kinder. He went out of his way to help us with a transportation problem and welcomed us warmly when we arrived. The building was - to our surprise - built in the 1800's but the owner (who has fabulous taste) took 3 rooms/suites within and designed them with a modern flair. Warning: no sign on the building but don't be surprised. Wonderful area, wonderful proprietor, wonderful stay. We will be back! Michele & Steve

This location is small, only 3 suites. But makes for a fun and intimate experience we truly loved. Also only steps from Piazza Popolo which is a great landmark to make for cab pickup and drop off since they all know the Piazza. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

The suite is very spacious, nice and clean. Convenient location, close to the Vatican, shopping and many good restaurants near by. The owner, Francesco is very accommodating and helpful person! We highly recommend this Maison Artisti Suites!

I loved everything about this property. It was so near the metro and shops. Everything was walking distance. We walked to all the major historical sites, everything was within a 10-25min walk. Francesco and Giacomo were so sweet. They made sure we had everything we needed. We were even able to leave our bags there early since check in wasn’t until noon and we had an early flight. Not to mention we were able to leave our bags there after check out until we got our second hotel free of charge. When we arrived they had a book with different places to eat. We tried a few out, very well recommended. We had someone clean our place daily. Room was everything I expected and more. Our flight arrived a bit later than expected, so we contacted the manager of the property and he was very gracious and accommodating to our needs. Although we arrived late, he stayed on the property to welcome us and walk us through the explanation of the amenities and procedures of the property. We were provided with recommendations of places nearby to visit, popular spots, and restaurants depending on preference. The room itself was very spacious and the decor was magnificent and true to the pictures on the site. The bathroom was clean and neat. The hotel itself is located just next to Piazza del Popolo and walking distance from the metro station. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, as well as other popular tourist locations (Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain). Very happy with this boutique hotel. Would happily recommend to others who are looking for a great location at a great price.

My wife and I rented a room at this centrally located property in Rome (steps from Piazza de Popolo. It was very spacious and clean, but the best and most important part of the stay were the people. Specifically, Francesco. Francesco was very accomodating and maintained constant communication with us days before we were expected to stay and thank goodness he did because we would've been pretty lost in Rome without his direction. He helped guide us to the train station and subway line and we got off and arrived right at the hotel which is right across the Piazza. He even made us coffee! Definitely not something you would get at a hotel. The room was also very romantic and spacious. It was worth every penny staying in one of his apartment rooms. It has a private bath and nice view toward the cobblestone alleyway. The jacuzzi was nice too. He even recommends spots (both touristy and local) that he has tried himself in a handy booklet he personally made. Great attention to detail. We would go back again because of its location and the hospitality. You can ask him anything and he is a phone call or message away while you are there. Hope this helps, Alfredo

Location is in the heart of Rome. Francesco helped us with the ride from and to the airport for a reasonable price. He showed us all the good restaurants and kept a book of recommendations in our room to avoid tourist trap restaurant. He even ordered coffee for me to take home and showed me where to buy the best chocolate. He made our stay in Rome great and I am so thankful I booked this hotel. I am looking forward to stay here again while in Rome.

This is not a hotel so you don’t get the same fresh sheets/towels/toiletries etc. However Francesco runs a very professional operation and was also very helpful with everything Rome. He knows his stuff. The property is in a good location for walking to Vatican, Pantheon, etc. Also has very good WiFi.

Easily Exceeded Expectations

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maison Degli. For starters, the location was perfect for our needs. We were a short walking distance to both the Vatican as well as to most of the historical sites. There’s a subway stop literally at piazza Popolo (3 mins away) which makes it very easy to navigate from the hotel. The area is also full of good restaurants at are a stone’s throw away. The room itself was very comfortable. We both travel frequently for work and have stayed with almost every major hotel chain. The bathroom in our suite easily surpassed those found in most chain hotel rooms and the bed was equally comfortable. Probably the highlight of our stay was the owner himself. Not only was he hospitable, the insight he provided helped us set a very memorable itinerary which served us well. When we return to Rome will will try to stay here. I would recommend everyone else do the same. You won’t be disappointed!
