Overnight stay

The staff was very nice, EVERYONE greeted us , and was friendly. Our room was not the best location, middle of the downstairs hall across from vending. Could have asked to move I guess but it was pretty full. I could hear EVERYTHING on the floor above us ,(walking, toilet flushing in the wall next to the bed coming from the floors above). Breakfast was great , the dining area clean and maintained. Overall, I can always count on Country Inn & Suites for a good stay.

Short stay and totally satisfied.

Appears that the hotel had been recently refurbished. The staff was friendly and did their job. The free breakfast was typical of the hotel free breakfast, not gourmet but satisfying and the usual selections (eggs, meat, cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc.). We were in the area for a college prospect camp and got the room at a good rate online. The room's purpose was to clean up in at the end of the day, get a good nights sleep, eat in the morning and leave. We did not use the pool, exercise room, or other amenities. The room was clean and maintained. Bed was very comfortable and I slept like a rock. Overall, I was satisfied and felt like I had made a good deal.

Perfect Location

I plan to be in the Rome, GA area on a regular basis for the next 4 years while I have a student enrolled in a local college there. This hotel is where I plan to stay each time I come to visit!!

Decent but a couple of complaints

The room was decent. The fitness room is small but clean and well maintained. The food at the breakfast was fresh but not always well stocked. The main complaint is that most mornings (as was the morning of Thursday 11/22) the lady at the front desk goes into the dining area and stands in the doorway to the kitchen talking to the lady that prepares the food. She is really loud and it is irritating for people trying to enjoy a quiet breakfast. They talk so loud that the television in the dining room could not even be heard. This has happened on three mornings now. I just don't want to listen to a 10 minute conversation about her boyfriend. Otherwise, I really could not complain about this hotel. It was a good value.

Not bad, clean and comfortable.

I was satisfied with just about everything. My only complaint would be that the breakfast staff and front desk clerk are loud in the mornings. Almost every day they are gossiping with each other in the kitchen area so loudly that the tv in the dining area could not be heard. Sometimes the lady that works the kitchen gets on personal phone calls and everyone in the dining area is forced to listen to the whole 10 minute conversation with her boyfriend. Just a bit annoying when you want a quiet peaceful breakfast and a chance to collect your thoughts before starting the day. With all that said, all of the staff that I encountered were pretty friendly.

This trip was a nightmare. After being in the car six hours; the pool was out of service, A/C was frozen up and they had us stand there with a blow dryer to defrost it, and last the refrigerator didn't work. None of these would of been a problem if it wasn't for we promised our 4 year old daughter she could swim. I had brought 1/2 gal of milk for my 1 year son and to continue to put ice in our cooler to keep it cold. and I had no time to switc and I had no time to switch hotels I woulda left I woulda left there s so fast

All the necessaties of home

Parking lot was clean and well lit, seating area on front entrance, bookshelf in lobby, quick check-in and check-out, comfortable beds and spacious rooms and bath. Great continental breakfast, area is well kept.
