The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one. The rooms are extremely clean and in a great location literally metres from the Vatican. I couldn't recommend this residence highly enough

Room was older but clean. Comfortable bed. Our room also had a couch - big enough to sleep on as needed. Bathroom was also very clean. Shower only - the glass doors were hard to close completely however. Overall, it was a nice stay. Nicolletta and her husband (I think they were the owners of the guest house complex) did a great job keeping everything clean and tidy.

Our entire stay was extremely comfortable, our room was large and had a balcony that creates a quaint atmosphere for late night conversations. Service was spectacular with daily room service, and an owner that responded promptly and effectively to our problems.

The property is owned by some of the nicest people! They were extremely welcoming and greeted us for check in. The property itself is conveniently located which made exploring Rome very easy. However, the unit is average at best. The walls are paper thin and has very basic amenities (they do provide sample packet sizes of soaps but I do recommend bringing your own). If you're looking to start your day early and end it late, this place is perfect.

Exceeded Expectations-Perfect Stay in Rome

Borgo Vaticano was honestly better than we expected. The room size was generous, especially by European standards. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and hassle-free. Nicoletta, the host, was fantastic—very attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The place was spotless and well-maintained. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the Vatican Museums, and very close to both the bus and metro stations. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Rome!

Side trip to Rome

The host was quick to respond and gave great instructions. The location was very convenient to the Metro. The room was clean and was surprised by a mid week refresh of towels, etc. Conveniently located to all the attractions. Local food options nearby. Safe and quiet.

Enviable location. Outstanding! The room was nice and clean. Small, yet comfortable, bathroom with a nice shower. The only flaw was the mattress. So soft that you sink into it. Kettle and teabags available. Coffee machine in the foyer.
