Whole building smelled of weed constantly, no matter what time of day. Room was outdated but mattresses were very comfy, linens were clean. Nice hot water for long period of time. Good coffee and snacks for breakfast in morning. Our tv never worked, lady up at desk said remote needed to be programmed again so we did and still didn’t work. Tv needs updated because there wasn’t any buttons to manually change channel. Overall, met our needs for our 3 night stay for the price.

Needs attention.

It was a basic room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable enough. The bathroom needs a deep cleaning. All caulk should be removed and renewed. The faucet needs new valves as they both leak when the water is turned on. The bathroom vent fan didn't work and when someone else turned theirs on to vent cigarette smoke the smell of cigarettes permeated the bathroom.

Safe but OLD

The hotel has seen better days. Rundown and well-used. A safe place to get some rest as it is conveniently located off the freeway. With good food and groceries nearby. The best part of getting up in the morning is the local coffee provided in the office. H&G is a local hometown coffee and is sold at Kroger.

Past its prime

A great location and a fair price but the hotel has passed its prime. Do not be confussed by the continental brekfast. Toast, miniture bagles and weak coffee And thats all folks.

Cheap but worked

Your most basic, low-cost stay but it was clean and safe and worked for our needs. Breakfast was oatmeal packs and muffins, would've liked at least some water or juice options. Very easy on/off from I81. Only negative was the first night, the halls reaked of pot smoke. 2nd night wasn't bad.

Great Nights Sleep, needs deep cleaning.

This was a one night stop during a long cross country trip. The receptionist was very cordial and handled my reservation quickly. The hotel is in dire need of updates. The carpets are very worn, there were exposed water lines on the 2nd floor where a wall was cut open, and cleaning could be much better. My bathtub had an antislip mat in the bottom that hadn't been removed since it was installed and there was a thick layer of dirt,debris, & mold underneath the mat. The bed was extremely comfortable and I got a good nights sleep. The location is very convenient to the highway 81 ramp and several restaurants.

The worth check in I ever had. Bu mistake I booked smoking room. I asked to change it for non smoking. Immediatly asked for $19 surcharge for changing from smoking to non smoking. Weard. Also I was forced to give deposit cash $100. Without deposit xheck in was not allowd.

This property is in a very nice location. Since I am from that area I was familiar,but this is clearly a 50.00 a day hotel if that. Due to the fact there were no hotels available in the area and we needed a room on short notice we had no choice,but to stay here. The room was surcharged at 196.00 plus tax. They also had a mandatory 100.00 hold for incidentals. There is nothing of value in that room. It is very dated. Cobwebs in the corner,old lamps and furniture. The tub was dirty,because the drain was slow draining.The covers looked cosmetically nice but were very thin like curtains. The rear door could stand to be windexed there were tons of smears and fingerprints all over it. I did not sleep well. The staff was very nice and friendly though,and the towels and washcloths and bed sheets were clean.Those were the only positives.

The overall stay was acceptable. But there were a few inconveniences for the handicapped. The back door that was supposed to be unlocked between 8am-8pm was not always unlocked during those hours. My room was 2 doors away from the back door, but I had to go thru the front door and walk almost all the way to the back door to get to my room. My knees and hips don't always work and this was a very painful walk. The soda machine didn't give the correct product. For $2.35 a soda I'd like to get the one I chose. But on a good note, the ice machine worked and the staff was very polite and friendly.
