Motel 6 Marina, CA - Monterey
This is the second time we've stayed at the Motel 6 in Marina and it's a good location with a fair price. I'd give it a 5 instead of a 4, except the second time the AC unit made a strange noise. They might want to check out the AC unit in Room 205.

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Santa Cruz
Very clean. Comfortable bed and room. Nice balcony and pool. Breakfast was good. Would have liked to have known about the $25 parking fee before I got there but maybe I just missed it when reading about the property.
