Good location, property was under renovation so it was a bit noise in the mornings but nothing that would ruin our gateway! Property have a rear breakfast buffet option la and near bars, restaurants and 2 blocks from Copacabana beach station 4!

The hotel is located in a great location. Great breakfast,close to the beach, restaurants and shopping areas. I think the hotel is value for money and would recommend same for travelers on a budget.. The pool area need an upgrade

Over all the hotel was good, they are remodeling so during the day was a lot of noise. My room was very big I really like it, the only thing i didn't like was the pillows they have a bad smell and I didn't use them. Beside that everything was very good

The hospitality was amazing and I would rate it very high. Where it seemed to be not so good - and this may be all hotels in Brazil, or just this one - is the bedroom. It was VERY noisy, there was no clock, coffee/tea making machine and very few toiletries. It was basic, but comfortable at the same time. There was a swimming pool, which was very very small. A small gym but beautiful view. So, all in all I would say probably 7/10

Big family room and bathroom with dining table too Superficially clean but dated and they are renovating at the moment Person helping with bags so friendly and helpful at all times Lady at reception couldn’t really be bothered and kept saying to ask others in the mornings so we were not able to sort an early breakfast or late checkout as no point in the actual morning! Good value for area and if you don’t expect luxury but want good space in convenient area then really worth it! Breakfast good options too included in price of room Nice rooftop but no parasols so limited shade area. Small pool and good gym - good to have this area as an option but shame they didn’t have any drinks or food to offer ( can get some nearby though)

The check in was quick and easy. The stuff was super friendly and accommodating. There was one incident wherein I thought I might have left my phone in the tour bus. The guy (from the reception) was diligently getting a hold of the tour accompany; after all I realized I had misplaced my phone in my room. As for my room, it was huge. I had my own jacuzzi in the bathroom. The bedroom is huge too. The bedroom alone is the size of a regular 5-star hotel room. It was really worth my money spent. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is conveniently located. There is a supermarket a block away. I will definitely come back and suggest Americas Benidorm to friends. (Stayed Aug 28-Sept 03, 2024)

BED BUGS

DO NOT STAY HERE! THEY HAVE BEDBUGS! We checked in, went up to the room, the room did not look at all like the pictures online, apparently they have a few renovated rooms and those are the pictures that they use on Hotels.com, it was very old, dirty and dated, anyway, my wife always look under the mattress for Bed Bugs and there was plenty, we freaked out and she went to the lobby to complain, the check in person told her that he is very sorry and showed her a different room (this is how she saw the renovated room) but we declined because one room has bed bugs means other rooms probably also have bed bugs, so Claudio the check in person told us verbally the refund will be issued the next day, we followed up the next day with hotels.com and were told that the hotel's policy was to not refund (even under the circumstances of bed bugs) and that all Hotels.com could do was offer us $400 Key Cash after we already paid $2875 for a 9 day stay and we are a Platinum tier with Hotels.com and been a customer for over 20 years and we travel a lot. So no more Hotels.com either because they did not stand by their product.

Pros: The hotel location is great. The room was clean, and the AC worked great. The breakfast had good variety, but basic / poor quality. Cons: biggest issue is staff. Only one staff speaks English, and that lady at the reception desk is always grumpy and rude. The hotel has outdated rip-off policies. They don’t have iron for cloths, even if you ask for one. Instead, they charge you for ironing services. If you need to store your luggage, they also charge. The lady was arguing with me because I needed to store my luggage for 45 min while I get lunch. Really bad customer service. Not sure I would return to this hotel.

I know this is a 30 yr old hotel but hey u could do something to take off the rust, from the knobs & buttons. I came in with no bulbs ( no lampshade at all) at the bedside reading light( if u are a reader, u need this), shower flooded, toilet button is so old/rusty that the water kept going until I pulled it out. The wifi didn’t work from the morning I wake up until I came back at night , if u are working & has family— u would choose a hotel that has “wifi” services. I bought a SIM card but of course, it’ll give u limited services, too.

The hotel is clean, conveniently located and the service is very courteous. The price of the stay included breakfasts - although the same set was served every day, they were tasty and fresh. The only drawback was the ongoing renovation of the roof and other rooms, which at times caused some inconvenience.
