"Everything except breakfast is what a 5 star should be. Breakfast is sit down, which is great. But range of what is on offer like the juices, the protein is limited. Gluten free bread was schar, would expect something better at these prices. Other than that, hotel is faultless. Mediterranean restaurant run by chef Alex is very good. Rooms, better than the best hotels in the world. Clientele- no loud Americans which is a surprising and pleasant break from the rest of the hotels in Europe. "

"This hotel is a comfortable oasis in the wonderful village of Gaucin. It has a long history of accommodating guests and under these new owners has been upgraded to include good wifi and a wonderful restaurant on the main level. "Excellent location, and super clean. Staff are really friendly, with excellent communication before and during. The extras are a nice touch and appreciated. Maybe some ice trays in the freezer, and a pair of scissors in the kitchen drawer. I personally thought the matress wasn't very comfortable, but that's just me. I hope to go back. "

"Unheard of for us, but we decided to come back to this hotel after a week holiday last year. Everything about this hotel is superb. Reception staff, restaurant staff, bar staff, cleaning staff. My only gripe is that we asked for a room upgrade (as an Expedia platinum member) but were told that all the higher grade rooms were full. This wasn’t the case as we could clearly see that the suite we had last year was unoccupied for the duration of our stay. "

"Enjoyed it - the property needs a lick of paint in areas but the view is superb, staff very friendly and lots of nice people with lots of warm Spanish charm. They had a BBQ one night and the food was excellent. I'd stay there again."

"Beautiful boutique hotel, we stayed 7 nights and had one of the suites on the top floor. Plenty big room, modern bathroom and a very large terrace. The staff was awesome."

"Great affordable place to stay right on the beach. Reception was outstanding l, so friendly and helped us park our rental car in the parking garage. Bed was massive, bathroom could do with some TLC but ok. Beach was right there! Restaurants were many at good prices."
