They made sure you stay with them was first class service!! The pool was so relaxing. The beach look like paradise. The breakfast, lunch & dinner was Michelin star rated. I’m looking forward to going back to this resort. I truly enjoyed Giancarlo & Settimo , who went over and above to provide quality service!!

The AC was not cool which made for an uncomfortable hot night. Had the windows cracked and then all I heard was buzzing mosquitos. Very annoying. Other than that great location by the beach and it’s free to lay out under an umbrella with chairs. They have a private beach allocated to them and they are close to a dive shop and some good restaurants close by. Room was great aside from the lackluster AC which in turn brought the buzzing mosquitoes. I’d book again though.

Overall nice stay

We enjoyed our stay at hotel Ipomea. The facilities were clean and the staff were friendly. The beach is nice, but quite narrow and not ideal for small children, as there are a lot of stones (the beach in Tropea were much better). The location is not ideal if you plan to eat out, as there are only 2 restaurants around. Some services offered by the hotel - like the airport shuttle - seemed very expensive to us, and we preferred to book elsewhere. Overall, we had a nice stay, but we won’t come back here due to the location.

Una notte in Calabria..

La struttura necessità di un importante rinnovamento. Il check-in è stato lentissimo. Il personale non è reattivo e non disponibile: abbiamo pagato una cifra spropositata, degna in un albergo di ben altra categoria. La colazione è povera e mal organizzata. Il punto mare è davvero bello e la struttura non è degna di questa bella posizione.

Abbiamo trascorso una giornata splendida: pranzo nella terrazza sul mare (praticamente nel mare!!!), pomeriggio nella spiaggia privata dell'hotel e tuffo in piscina prima dell'aperitivo. Cena sul mare con incantevole tramonto con vista sulle Isole Eolie. Speriamo di tornare per una vacanza più lunga!

Beautiful family owned property. Food was delicious, service was amazing. Needs to be a little updated. But it was great. To get to the property is a lot. But all in all we had a blast!

Personeel is SUPER , en vooral de barman Guanluca die speciale cocktails maakt! Respect voor al het personeel dat toch iedere dag in de hitte klaar staat voor de gasten en zeer lange dagen maakt.Minder is de airco in het complex, werkt niet echt goed. En men spreekt amper een andere taal buiten het Italiaans. Erg jammer dat men het ontbijt niet buiten nuttigen kan.

Very nice hotel close to the beach

My husband and I stayed there for 2 weeks and was a very nice and relaxing experience. The hotel has a small and clean beach; a swimming pool, with an area for children; the breakfast is very fresh and varied, satisfying different tastes. They also have a spa and a massage service: the beautician Federica is really good. The best of all is the hotel staff, it is excellent, always kind and helpful. Definitively, if we can, we will go back!

Hyggeligt område, søde mennesker!

Jeg havde et utroligt hyggeligt ophold på Hotel Ipomea Club. God service, søde folk, småt lokalområde, men hyggelige restauranter og et lille lokalt supermarked. Det kan anbefalet at tage en udflugt med shuttlebus til byen Tropea! Fantastisk udsigt fra hotellet, dog er er der mange sten på stranden. Men alti alt meget hyggeligt.

Not impressed

Poor value for money. The car parking is not included and is paid as extra with no-one in charge of it, so often no space to park, or space blocked. A 4 stars hotel should provide basic kits such toothpaste/toothbrush but they don't and you will need to buy it in the expensive bazar. The overall impression was luck of organization and no willingness to offer an appropriate service for the price paid. The food was very good and the waiters were very polite. The animation provided was also good.

Nice Hotel next to the beach.

Nice Hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. You can enjoy quiet. It is not a partyhotel. The restaurant would like to offer upscale standart. The small snack was not available. The hotel is well maintained by the staff. I will be very happy to be a guest at the hotel again.

Dålig information.

Receptionen visste inte hur eller om restaurangen var öppen. De hade heller ingen info ang jympan som skulle vara i poolen. I restaurangen fanns inte heller någon meny att titta i. Gym, vilket utlovades på expedia, fanns inte- vi såg heller ingen gympa i poolen. Annars fräscht ställe.
